Jean Parker-Renga - Yoga

Jean started practicing yoga in 2002 as a way to connect with the breath while running. Her regular practice and breath work led her to get certified in Viniyoga in 2011. She’s a registered yoga teacher with the National Yoga Alliance with 500 hours of training and holds a certification in prenatal yoga. Jean sets a calming atmosphere and creates an environment for self-reflection and a better understanding of the body through asana, pranayama and meditation in her class. DanNie Bailey - Yoga

From what started as a sudden spark of interest Dannie’s yoga journey began when she was a teenager. After falling in love with the way yoga touched her life her passion for the practice grew stronger. Not only did she want to soak up as much knowledge as possible about yoga, she wanted to share this joy with the world. By doing so she enrolled in the Front Range Community College 200 hour yoga teacher training program in August of 2013. Through her training she became fully equipped to provide a successful and efficient yoga class to a variety of students while modifying and customizing the practice to fit each individual’s needs. She graduated with her teaching and CPR certificate with flying colors in December of 2013 and has been teaching ever since. Dannie’s classes include stretching and strengthening the muscles while relaxing the body and mind. Dannie focuses on relieving physical and mental tension through the combination of breath and asana. Any of her classes will leave you feeling rejuvenated and harmonized.

Kali Neal - Yoga

Kali started her yoga journey five years ago here in Fort Collins. Yoga offered a sense of calm, centering, and acceptance that she was searching for. Through her exploration of different styles she found her way to vinyasa. She had been taken away by the fluidity of vinyasa and sustained by the more subtle practices of pranayama, meditation, and mantra. The experience of being lost in her own moving meditation and a desire to deepen her practices pushed her to pursue teacher training, she received her certification in spring 2012.
Kali teaches a creative, highly energetic vinyasa class which philosophy, focused alignment, and various meditation practices are threaded through. She is grateful to all the yoga teachers and students who continue to challenge and inspire her. Yoga has enriched her life in ways she never imagined and hopes to share her experiences with her students encouraging them to dive deeper into their own practice and create the space for change.
Kali is also available for private and semi-private instruction. Request your appointment here today!

Massage Therapists
Josh Balzar - Massage; Structural Integration; Fitness

Josh was serving in the US Navy, as a Reactor Operator onboard the USS Enterprise, when he experienced a shift in consciousness. Already a student at a local martial-arts academy he began exploring the available yoga and meditation classes. Soon after, a series of injuries led to long hours with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Massage Therapists, and Personal Trainers. Josh felt a connection with these individuals and began to reevaluate his values. Despite internal conflict, pressure from family, and a general “wtf!?” from everyone he knew, Josh chose to pursue the healing arts when his enlistment ended.
Through simultaneous studies in Massage Therapy and Ayurveda at Milan Institute, Personal Training with the American College of Sports Medicine, energy work following the Usui Reiki Method of Natural Healing, and Wisdom Healing Qigong at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS); Josh learned to bridge gaps between systems of healing and knowledge. He integrated these systems to offer clients a more holistic approach to healing, and continues to redevelop his skill-set according to client needs.
After visiting family in Fort Collins, Josh and family moved to Colorado in 2011. Never one to stop learning, he has since earned; 3 certifications as a Structural Integration Coach, a Laughter Yoga Leader certification, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, a Master’s in Business Administration, and the designation of Conscious Aging Facilitator. He is very active in the local community, volunteering with the Poudre School District and local service organizations.
Josh has logged more than 5,000 hours as a Massage Therapist and is a master of his craft. He draws from multiple systems to provide physical, energetic, and emotional release with each session. Personal practices of aerial arts, acro-yoga, flow-arts, and martial-arts give him insight into the unique needs of the individuals in these communities.
If cost is ever an issue, please talk to Josh about trades. He encourages everyone to receive regular healing sessions and doesn’t think money to be a barrier to that.
***Time Trades: Trading time is an excellent way for two people to honor each other on equal levels. Josh regularly uses his time as currency for 2 reasons: 1) an equal exchange of time is not taxed and counts toward volunteer hours, and 2) exchanging time allows him to receive services he may not regularly spend money on. Josh offers the option of partial-trade for all his services. You pay what percentage you’re able to and volunteer your time for the remainder. For example: if you paid $35 for a $70/hr service, you would volunteer at the studio for 30 min. We have plenty of things to do, including some you can do from home.
